This owner purchased their property south of Lake Isabel in May 2026, eager to start a new chapter. However, just weeks after the purchase, flames raged nearby, leading to a mandatory evacuation order that left them unable to return for 31 days. Today, equipped with a reentry pass, they made their way back, ready to confront the impact of the wildfire.
