A follower left a pointed comment on one of Kezzy’s videos: “Woman, you really need to just stay home!” Her response, posted on her own TikTok as @kezzyscorner, was to explain exactly what happens when she doesn’t.
Already running late, and then three signs in a row
Kezzy narrates the whole story herself on camera: she was already behind schedule, having stopped for a Facebook Marketplace pickup on her way to meet a friend for lunch. “As I’m driving to the restaurant, I see an estate sale sign, you guys. Then another one. Then another one. Three signs in a row, with arrows pointing to that direction,” she says. “I immediately busted a U-turn.”
A two-story house full of everything at once
She texted her friend to buy ten minutes and pulled up to a two-story Mediterranean-style home with an estate sale in full swing. In her own words, the house had “stuff everywhere”: patio furniture, French bistro tables, golf memorabilia in the garage, wicker baskets, Persian rugs, and even a piano sitting on the hardwood floors. Running out of time before lunch, she moved as fast as she could through the ground floor alone. “I was already late, so I couldn’t even go upstairs to the second part of the home,” she says. “I had to do the fastest estate sale walkthrough of my life.”
The part every thrifter recognizes
What makes the video work isn’t the haul reveal, it’s the moment right before it: the second she saw those signs, lunch plans became a background detail. Kezzy ends the video on a cliffhanger, teasing that she didn’t leave empty-handed without yet saying what came home with her. For anyone who has ever made the exact same U-turn, that’s the part that needs no explanation at all.
