Candace Cameron Bure Just Announced a New Full House Reunion and Here’s Everything Fans Should Know

Candace Cameron Bure confirmed on Instagram that she and three of her “Full House” castmates are reuniting at a fan convention in Florida this September, giving fans a fresh, in-person reunion just three weeks out.

Key Points

This isn’t Bure’s first trip to 90s Con — she and a rotating group of castmates have made the Daytona Beach weekend a semi-regular stop in recent years, including a previous 90s Con Florida appearance in 2024 — but the yearly gathering has become something fans actively plan trips around rather than a one-off nostalgia stunt. The convention’s organizers, That’s 4 Entertainment, have built the September weekend into a recurring stop for casts of 1990s sitcoms and dramas beyond just “Full House,” including past years’ guests from “Melrose Place,” “Boy Meets World,” and “Family Matters.”

Coulier, who plays Joey on the original series, has described what keeps the cast coming back to these conventions year after year. “We have really affected people’s lives in a very positive way… And we get to shake hands with them and give hugs,” he said of meeting fans face to face at the events.

For a show that ended its original run in 1995 and wrapped its Netflix sequel “Fuller House” in 2020, the cast’s willingness to keep showing up together — on a convention stage rather than in a new scripted project — has become its own kind of tradition. No new series or special has been announced alongside this appearance; for now, the reunion is strictly a weekend in Daytona, tickets and hotel rooms included.

The quick turnaround from announcement to event — just under a month — tracks with how durable the Tanner family sitcom has remained more than three decades after its debut. Reruns still air in daily syndication blocks, and the cast’s convention circuit, with Daytona among the more frequent stops, has effectively become the closest thing “Full House” fans get to new material together on one stage. Sweetin and Barber, in particular, have leaned into the nostalgia-convention circuit in recent years, which makes a four-person reunion in one weekend a bigger draw for fans than a solo meet-and-greet would be.
