The conflict started when she was about eight weeks away from giving birth to her first child. At the time, she was excited to support her friend K, who was engaged to a mutual friend. The two had grown close and had spent considerable time together alongside their husbands. However, shortly before their engagement celebration, the woman experienced a health scare that landed her in the emergency room. Despite fears of complications, she was able to join the proposal later that day.
After the couple became engaged, K asked the woman to be her MOH, believing she was the right choice over another friend who she felt would not be responsible enough.
